Also, which of the two has a more dynamic feel when played? I'm sort of leaning to... The value of the Helix in my opinion is not just the interface that's relatively easy to understand and use, but also the huge knowledge base of the user community and 3rd party support.

I am super keen to take Pod Go for a test drive, and I applaud Line 6 for making Helix model quality available in an affordable (for a rank amateur like me) and easy to use unit that can be a whole pedal board, with enough buttons to do that justice. The Line 6, isn't as user friendly ON THE UNIT itself, but the PC software is much more advanced than the others. I find it quicker to dial in my Boss on the unit itself and only used the software to back it up. For what you're wanting, I say Helix....
Or wait a couple weeks until NAMM? Hats off to Line 6 on this one. I predict this thread to be filled with tears and butthurt very soon.

From another angle, its not official yet but the " Line 6 Helix DNA " - internally known unofficially at L6 as Helix 2, is due for release August 20 this year and will be available to order / buy at the same time.

Blown away by my new HX Stomp XL in my limited use so far. In relation to this, the Bogner Shiva amp model is killer for mid/low gain and the Badonk (Line 6 original) is so so awesome for high gain, kind of shocked how gamechanger this is for apartment playing. Any clean amp recommendations?
